Charles McGregor Johnstone of Camperdown, Corangamite Shire County, VIC Australia was born on March 31, 1872 in Laang, Moyne Shire County to Louisa Moloneaux Johnstone and Charles Henry Johnstone. He had siblings Mary Louisa "Tot" (Johnstone) Thulborn, Isabella Maria Johnstone, Lillian 'Lily' Johnstone, Alexander Mark Johnstone, Frances Jane Johnstone, Laura Elsie Johnstone, Daisy Violet Irene Constance Johnstone, Claude Stuart Daniel Johnstone, Myrtle Vivian Johnstone, Samuel Arthur Johnstone, and Henrietta Johnstone Henry. He married Mary Jane "Millie" (Robertson) Johnstone in 1891, and had children Louis Robert Charles Johnstone, Cecil Henry Macgregor Johnstone, Percy Francis James Johnstone, Reginald Vernon Alfred Johnstone, Ivy Louisa Elizabeth Johnstone, Ernest Ray Clifford Gordon Johnstone, Clarence Albert John Johnstone, Hazel Eva Annie Johnstone, Herbert George Trevor Johnstone, and Clifford Vane Noel Johnstone.
