He had siblings Viola Marie Frances Eames, Ernest Alfred William Eames, Clarice Florence Ellen Eames, Vernon Leonard Eames, Nellie Eames, and Clifford Edmond Eames. Charles Eames married Daphne Estelle Holland in 1940, and died at age 83 years old on October 17, 1997 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County.
