He had siblings John Gilmour Turner, William Henry Turner, George Andrew Turner, Henrietta Turner, Jessie Catherine Turner, Robert Mitchell Turner, Arthur Donnes Turner, Gertrude Barbara Cook (Turner), and Edith Charlotte Dumbrell (Turner). Charles Turner died at age 26 years old in June 1898 at Black Range in Lavington, NSW.
