Catherine Ward Lear 1862 - 1924

Catherine (Ward) Lear of Surry Hills, City of Sydney County, NSW Australia was born on April 7, 1862 in Golden Gully, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC to Thomas Ward and Catherine Hyland Ward. She had siblings Elizabeth Ward, Margaret Daisy Seymour Ward, Anastatia Ward, Jane Frances Ward, and Mary Agnes (Ward) Clarke. She married William John Lear in 1880, and had children Thomas William Lear, Catherine May Lear, Lucy Lear, Margaret Matilda Lear, William John Lear, Herbert Lawrence Lear, Benjamin John Lear, Arthur Lear, and Anastia Lear. Catherine Lear died at age 62 years old on September 24, 1924 in Surry Hills, City of Sydney County, NSW.
