Carrie Lillian (Bateman) Furze of Camberwell, City of Boroondara County, VIC Australia was born in 1897 in St Kilda, Port Phillip City County to Arthur Charles Bateman and Edith Catherine Mansell. She had siblings Edith Eveline Bateman Hebard, Violet Dorothy Bateman, Arthur Edward Bateman, and Charles Hamilton Bateman. She married Henry John Dysart Furze in 1919, and had a child John Arthur Furze. Carrie Furze died at age 81 years old in 1978 in Camberwell, City of Boroondara County.
