Cahir Dougherty of Beulah Australia was born in 1871 in Horsham, Horsham Rural City County, VIC to Sarah Ann White Dougherty and Constantine George Dougherty. He had siblings Hugh Walmer Dougherty, Ethel Mary Dougherty, George Constantine Dougherty, Constance Maude Dougherty, and Constantine Dougherty. He married Helen Mary (Smeaton) Dougherty, and had children James Cahir Dougherty, George Merveyn Dougherty, Noel Milton Dougherty, and Ethel Mary Dougherty. Cahir Dougherty died at age 87 years old in 1958 in Alberton, Wellington Shire County, and was buried at Beulah Cemetery 3461 Birchip-Rainbow Rd, in Beulah, Yarriambiack Shire County.
