    Brunk Winston Conley was born to George Wallace Conley (1875 - 1952) and Julia Ellen Kennard (1878 - 1936) on October 11th, 1915 in West Liberty, Kentucky and he had seven siblings: Rollie, Kirby, Benjamin, Zera, Chalker, Ramsey, and Mitchell, all born between 1898 and 1919. On his March, 1942 World War II draft card, Brunk described himself as being five feet 8 inches tall and as weighing 159 pounds. He had brown eyes, brown hair, and a "ruddy" complexion. Brunk Conley married Elva Leslie on January 11th, 1943 and they had three sons: Brunk Jerralyn (1943 - 2017), Leslie (1948 - 2017) and one more son. They were divorced on June 4th, 1952 in Linn County, Oregon. Brunk then married Florence Agnes Halley (1924 - 2002) on January 29th, 1958 in Stevenson, Washington. When Brunk died at the age of 49, his death certificate says that the "Auto he was driving left Hiway #366 east of Florence, plunged into Siuslaw River" and that he died of asphyxia by drowning.

I am Brunk Winston Conley's granddaughter. I didn't know this site existed. I was born about two weeks after he passed away. What I know about him came from my grandma, dad, aunts and uncles.
