Brookes Potts George of Fitzroy, City of Yarra County, VIC Australia was born in 1838 in Leighton Buzzard, Central Bedfordshire County, England United Kingdom to William George and Elizabeth (Hadlow) George. He had siblings Eliza George and Herbert Hugh George. He married Mary Lydia (Woodley) George, and had children Elizabeth Adelaide Callaghan, Edmund Charles George, William Thomas George, Alfred James George, Anne Charlotte George, Mary Blake George, Amy Charlotte George, Alfred James George, Minnie George, Sarah Ann George, David George, Florence Lydia George, and Minnie George. Brookes George died at age 74 years old on August 13, 1913 in Fitzroy, City of Yarra County, VIC Australia.
