Brian Medenwaldt
BACKUS -- Brian Medenwaldt, 38, Backus, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born April 1, 1964, in Minneapolis to Donald and Sandy (Dellwo) Medenwaldt. He was a veteran of the Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy, Brainerd; two sons, Justin and Trevor, both of Brainerd; a daughter, Leanna, Brainerd; his mother, Backus; and a brother, Brent Medenwaldt, Backus.

His father died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Lakeside Baptist Church in Backus with Pastor Jeffrey Broom officiating. Memorials are preferred.

Friends may call an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home in Pine River.
