He later resided in Boston, Massachusetts and Portland, Maine. While in Boston he was a musician and was the first cellist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Boston Symphony Cellist Piller Dies
BOSTON (AP) - Boaz Piller, 77, first cellist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, has died on vacation in Sestri Levante, Italy.

Piller, Dutch - born U.S. citizen, was stricken Tuesday while visiting Sestri Levante with his wife. The body will be flown to the United States for burial.

good morning Lizzie I see you're busy with Boaz Piller I'm doing research on him. Do you know any of his relatives?
p.s. Boaz Piller was a bassoonist and then I move on to contrabassoon.
