Clarissa aka Clarice aka Clara Frost was born 18 Nov 1839 in Lodi Twp, Athens County, Ohio to Joseph Frost and Rhoda Brown. She married Oliver P. Bodwell on April 8, 1856 in Athens County, Ohio. They had 6 children: Annie Eliza, Orlinda, George Washington, Marion Elisha, Sarah Idella, and Joseph Oliver aka Joshua Bodwell. After her husband died of cancer, Clarissa eventually moved from their homestead in Athens County, Ohio to Lima, Allen County, Ohio. The grandchildren pictured here were the children of her daughter Sarah Idella aka Della and her husband William Feth, namely, Wm Augustus aka August; Blanche; and Oliver Carl Feth.
