To me he was known as "paw paw" he was one of those men that valued his family above all else and a very close second was his pride in the work he performed he used to always have a project for me to do every summer he used to always stop us from working early in the evening and give us a ride to the pool in Sayre or downtown the river to fish . I have moved to Sayre since his death and I sit out on the porch and remember all the things he taught me over the years he was the best shade tree mechanic I have known ! I will never forget the smell of his menthol cigarettes every morning as he would sit on the porch and have a cup of coffee.
