She married William Schultz on June 9, 1950, and had children Marilyn Joann (Schultz) Panchick, David William Schultz, and Richard Douglas Schultz. Bessie Schultze died at age 64 years old in 1993 in Armstrong County, and was buried circa 1993 at Lawn Haven Burial Estates 1290 Butler Road, in Worthington.
