She married William Curtis Stallings, and they were married until Bessie's death on December 8, 1965 in Senath, Dunklin County, MO. She had children Clarence H. Stallings, Mildred Stallings, and Lorine (Stallings) Hensley. Bessie Stallings was buried at Lulu Baptist Church in Senath.
