Introduction

My grandmother - She was a fun, beautiful, and lively grandma who lived life to the fullest. She had three sons, one being my father, Jerry Eller. She spent many years in Westchester County, New York, and then moved to California. She loved the desert and lived in a gorgeous Palm Springs home for a time. She enjoyed moving around and was gifted on the piano. Her later years were spent in San Antonio, Texas near some of her family and her remaining years were spent in :Ypsilanti, Michigan near her youngest son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We all love and miss her terribly. Rest in peace, grandma.

In 1920, Besse was 19 years old when Italian born factory worker Nicola Sacco and fish peddler Bartolomeo Vanzetti were picked up by police on May 5th in connection with the April 15th murder and robbery of a guard and a paymaster at the Slater and Morrill Shoe Company in South Braintree, Mass. Although in later years they were thought to be innocent, they were anarchists and were convicted of the crime and put to death.
