Bernard Pratte Taylor was born in September 1854 in Missouri United States to Marie Louise (Pratte) Taylor and Porter Clay Taylor, Sr., and had siblings Porter Clay Taylor, Jr., Robert Wash Taylor, Laura Emilie Taylor, Tulie G. "Dixie" Taylor, Nathaniel P. Taylor, and Medora J. "Dora" Taylor. He married Julia E. (Darby) Taylor, and had children Marie Louise (Taylor) Bedillion and John Fletcher Darby Taylor. Bernard Taylor died at age 52 years old on February 22, 1907 in CA.
