She married Wallace "Shaun" Shaunfield on Feb. 14, 1958 in Jefferson County, Texas and they lived in the Dallas area for 34 years before moving to Boerne, TX. Together they had children Julie (Shaunfield) Bennett, Jim Shaunfield, and Jena Lynn (Shaunfield) Craig. All of her life she was active in the Nazarene Church and then in the First United Methodist Church after moving to Boerne. Barbara Shaunfield passed away on January 21, 2006 in Boerne, Texas.     Barbara Jean Shaunfield passed away on Jan. 21, 2006, at her home in Boerne where she had lived since 2000. She was born on Oct. 3, 1939, in Port Arthur. She married Wallace "Shaun" Shaunfield on Feb. 14, 1958 and they lived in the Dallas area for 34 years before moving to Boerne. All of her life she was active in the Nazarene Church and then in the First United Methodist Church after moving to Boerne. She is survived by her husband, Shaun, and their children, Julie Bennett and husband Rick of Mineral Wells, Jim Shaunfield and wife Becky of Aledo and Jena Craig and husband Troy of Boerne. Other survivors are her grandchildren, Jesse, Shauna and husband Jeremy, J.D., Kara, Meagann, Jonathan, T.A., Parker and Jarrod; her great-grandchildren, Timmy and Zoey; and her brother, Adam T. Church of Vinton, La. Funeral services were at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 24, with Pastor Barbara Galloway-Edgar conducting the service. Interment in the Boerne Cemetery followed the service. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to pancreatic cancer research through the TGen Foundation, 400 N. 5th Street, Suite 1650, Phoenix, AZ 85004; phone 602-343-8436 or by going to the Web site at www.tgen.org.
