He was also preceded in death by daughter Phyllis. He married Helen Anna (Brown) Mellen on October 29, 1955 in Cornish, NH. Members of the family include his wife; three daughters Charlene Provencal of Glendora, CA[died 2004 in NV], June Burr and Barbara Mills both of Claremont; nine grandchildren; and brother Archie Peno of Claremont.
