He had siblings Eliza Ann Parsons, Jubion Arthur Parsons, Robert Daniel Parsons, Wesley Hobbs, Edward Dargo Parsons, and Mary Eliza Ann Barker. He married Grace Dorothea Jean (Burns) Parsons, and had children Arthur Robert Graeme Parsons and Richard Parsons. Arthur Parsons died at age 54 years old in 1961 in Melbourne.
