He had siblings William James Hawker, George Ernest Hawker, Frank Turner Hawker, Vera Florence Hawker, Alf Irvine Hawker, Louisa Isabel Hawker, Elsie May Hawker, Jack Gaulton Hawker, and Alice Mary Hawker. He married Constance Evelyn Duggan in 1936, and had a child Judith Ann Hawker. Arthur Hawker died at age 41 years old on January 27, 1950 in Diggers Rest.
