He had siblings Loyd Hooper, Michael John Hooper, Walter Gibbins Hooper, Amelia Elizabeth Hooper, Laura Hooper, Emily Ann Mccann, Laura Agnes Sitlington, Michael John Hooper, and Alice Mary Hooper. He married Elizabeth Doud Hooper, and had a child Henry John Hooper. Arthur Hooper died at age 82 years old in 1954 in Geelong.
