Arthur Michael Pasko of Olyphant, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania United States was born on September 21, 1908 in Scranton. Arthur was baptized at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Olyphant. He was married to Ann C. Kotson (Kocan) Pasko on February 23 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, and had children Michael Arthur Pasko and John M Pasko. Arthur Pasko died at age 78 years old in July 1987 at Mercy Hospital in Scranton, PA.

In 1915, he was merely 7 years old when The Birth of a Nation opened in February. A silent film, it was the most ambitious film to date and is considered a classic. Three hours long, it starred Lillian Gish and was directed by D. W. Griffith. The movie was based on the book The Clansman and told the story of two families (one pro-Union and one pro-Confederate) and their relationship during the Civil War and Reconstruction. The KKK was shown as "a heroic force".
