This is a photo of my GGG Grandparents gravesite. Their death dates are eroneously listed on this site as their birth dates. I do not have their birth dates as yet. One of their children and my GGAunt(Ysidora Aguilar) married an Ellis (Charles Ellis) and their family ranch was adjacent to the Aguilar Family Ranch/homestead where this burial is located in Descanso, CA. Gavino and Antonia homesteaded this land after coming here from Baja California, orignially from Spain, possibly Madrid.
There is an inscription below the headstone that tells of Gavino's murder.I have the text for anyone that is interested or cannot get down there.

My GGGrandmother was Domitilla Aguilar Kincaid and she raised her family in San Quentin Village beside the prison, where her husband (Elam Orson Kincaid) was one of the first guards. My GGrandmother is Lula Kincaid Ledford. She divorced Ledford and remarried while my grandmother was young and I have lost tack of her. I believe she died in Bakersfield, CA as the former Lucy Emma Kincaid. Her Aguilar-Kincaid siblings were Ella, Elsa, Josephine and Eddie.
