He married Angela Dalton and they had one son, Hakeem Javon Dalton. Anthony M. Spann died in the hospital at 7:18 p.m. in Columbus Ohio at the age of 30. His cause of death is listed as "water on the brain."

He was given only a few years to live. Instead, he grew up and married Angela Dalton and they had one son, Hakeem Javon Dalton. According to Facebook posts he was very active in his local community. As one person put it "Dude was a local celebrity. He was at nearly EVERY major social event in the black community. The fair, concerts, skating rink, parties, etc. Tony could out dress any dude in the room. Dude was a star. Even the gangs loved Tony. I remember his car with the dope system and tinted windows. A movie should be made about his life." - He died in a hospital in Columbus, Ohio at the young age of 30. He had been born, raised, and was a lifelong resident of Columbus.
