Anna (Lien) Long was born in 1900 at Idaho Supreme Court 451 W State St, in Boise, Ada County, Idaho United States to Ole Eriksen Lien and Anna Petra Hansdatter (Sæter) Lien, and had siblings Emret Lien, Clara Olive (Lien) Bruseth, Evan Olsen Lien, Martin Oliver Lien, Henry Olsen Lien, and Anton Olsen Lien. She married Elbert Thomas Long Sr in 1925, and had children Elbert Thomas Long, Jr and Maurice Richard Long. Anna Long died at age 79 years old on December 4, 1980 in Lewiston, Nez Perce County.
