She was not born a McClurg. Her maiden name was Koster. and she was born in Allegan County, Michigan. As I was told, her family wanted her to stay home and take care of her parents. Instead she married Charles McClurg, and they moved to Beaverton, OR. Not too long after that, he died; and she reared his three children. My last info on her was years ago at which time I was told that her family disowned her--which was a shame, as she was a very lovely individual. You'll find out her family's names on the internet!
