  • Personal Life & Family

I remember Mr.Lee whom I met when I was just a child. He was such a blessing to my entire family. He was family! I recall I was in the 6 grade, and I didn’t have a coat. Mr. Lee came to my elementary school ( Janie Daniel) withdrew me from school, and took me to Sears, and bought me a coat! He loved to cook. He would cook each Sunday, he loved to boil chicken, and serve cream soda! He loved Buick cars! He had oil wells on his property, always had a large garden, grew persimmon trees, and I honestly believe he was very well off. He loved my entire family, we met him through my Grandmother. He was so good to my grandmother, loved her, and took care of her, and the entire family. I am very grateful for Mr. Lee, and may he rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord. Deep Gratitude; Patti Pippins-Towles
