All we know is ....
Amos Emanuel Lundien came to America from Sweden in care of the captain of a ship at the approximate age of 7. He joined his mother and stepfather whose name we believe could be Emil Johnson who is buried in Peace Church Cemetery, Joplin, MO. Mother's name is still unknown. Amos left home at approximately 10 years of age because his stepfather was abusive. He built a house in the area of four corners, exact location not known. The house subsequently burned taking all the information that could identify further who his parents were. He married Edith Jane Dodson and upon her death in 1910, he married Anna Scott Hopkins. He was a very tall man.

To leave home at 10 years old...wow! That's extremely unfortunate that his house burned down and all records lost.

It might take some time, but I'm sure someone somewhere will eventually find this page who might know his parents' names.
