Ambrosia Cobb 1794 - 1863

Ambrosia Cobb of Lee County, Iowa United States was born in 1794 in Lincoln County, NC to William Cobb and Mary Polly Abernathy. He had siblings Shadrick Cobb, Starling Cobb, Dysey Dicey Cobb, Walter B Cobb, Jane Cobb, Sally Cobb, Stephen Cobb, Phillip B Cobb, Mary Polly Cobb, and Copa Cobb. He was in a relationship with Susan M (Underwood) Cobb, and had children Elizabeth Cobb, Jacob Sidney Cobb, Robert Winchester Cobb, George L Cobb, Mary J Cobb, James Nathaniel Cobb, Sarah Cobb, Sophia Minerva Cobb, Ephraim C Cobb, John W Cobb, and Martha Ellen "Mattie" Cobb. Ambrosia Cobb died at age 68 years old on May 9, 1863 in Des Moines, Polk County, IA, and was buried on May 10, 1863 at Unknown Cemetery in Lee County.
