Alvina Josephine (Thull) 1917 - 2002

Alvina Josephine (Thull) Wichmann was born in 1917 to Joseph William Thull and Elizabeth Josephine Thull, and had siblings Edmund J Thull, Claudius Joseph Thull, Loretta Thull, and Leander August Thull. She married Kenneth John Wichmann in 1937 and they later separated. She had a child Patricia J (Wichmann). Alvina Wichmann died at age 85 years old in 2002.

In 1921, by the time she was only 4 years old, the silent film The Sheik, directed by George Melford and starring Rudolph Valentino and Agnes Ayres (also featuring Adolphe Menjou) debuted on October 21st. Critics weren't enthusiastic but the public loved it - in the first few weeks 125,000 people had seen the movie - and it eventually exceeded $1 million in ticket sales.
