Hello, I am searching as well. I have a feeling we may cross paths in my search again. My great grandfather came from out that way, and I can't track further, but I'll keep searching. I am building a family tree, it goes back to the 1600s at this point. The original Purcells who came to America were jack rabbits and fought for our freedom, both in the old country and here against the British and were the first to fight the British for freedom here. We have a rich history! The Purcell bloodline is something to be very proud of, we were dukes and lords, we had many loyal people with us, and protected and changed kings, until we decided we wanted no king and became jackrabbit, the American line anyway.
