    Alphonse was in the construction business since a young age and even worked on making the Coney Island Hot Dog Stand. This Stand started out in Denver and moved after several times, it is currently in Bailey, Colorado and owned by the owners/creators of South Park the cartoon.

    Alphonse was a very hard working man. Even in retired he was always busy making wooden things in his shop, growing fruit on trees, raising chickens for eggs. He loved to fish and always had a stringer full of fish. He lived a long healthy life.

Explanations of the explosion have included a comet, meteorite, natural atomic explosion, or a crashed UFO.
