Almon E Mead of Stephenson County, Illinois United States was born circa November 18, 1908 in Lake Delton, Sauk County, WI to Richard H Mead and Estella Octavia (Adams) Mead. He had siblings Denzil E Mead, Laura Jeanette (Mead) Brechbuhl, Rachel (Mead) Hirth, Ray Kenneth Mead, Vern H Mead, and Iva Irene (Mead) Robinson. He married Marcella (Stamm) Mead in 1941, and they were married until Marcella's death in 1989. Almon Mead died at age 95 years old on September 9, 2004 in Freeport, Stephenson County, IL, and was buried at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 2514 IL-26, in Freeport.
