Alice (Membrey) Kirton of Thornbury, City of Darebin County, VIC Australia was born on August 9, 1893 in Northcote to James George Membrey and Elizabeth Pearce (Carvosoe) Membrey. She had siblings Caroline Ivy Membrey, Claude Membrey, James Stanley Membrey, Beatrice Olive Membrey, Albert George Membrey, and Edward Horace Membrey. Alice Kirton married Ernest Kirton, and died at age 62 years old on June 24, 1956 in Thornbury.
