Korn and Leah G (Knock) Korn, and had siblings Lewis H Korn, Clarence A Korn, Alice (Korn ) Weisbeck, Elsie (Korn) Boyer, Dorothy Grace (Korn) Wolfgang, Kenneth Warren Korn, Robert F Korn, Miriam June (Korn) Camp, and Evelyn (Korn ) Menne. Albert Korn died at age 74 years old on December 20, 2011.

In 1937, in the year that Albert Korn was born, on May 28th, the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge opened to cars. Taking 5 years to build, the 4,200-foot-long suspension bridge was an engineering marvel of its time - 11 men died during construction.
