He had siblings Henry George Glenny, Marian Miller Gonsalves, and Pierce Leslie Gonsalves. He married Maud Louisa Humphris in 1910, and had children Dorothy Hayzem Gonsal and Joyce Edwards Gonsal. Albert Gonsal died at age 67 years old on November 7, 1951 in Kerang, Gannawarra Shire County.
