He was the parent of Linda Caroline (Miechel) Canet, Albert Nelson Canet, and Lesley Marcelle (Canet) Young. He was the parent of Linda Caroline (Miechel) Canet, and Ida May (Canet) Senior. Albert Canet died at age 72 years old in 1955 in Windsor, and was buried on December 9, 1955 at Fawkner Memorial Park Sydney Rd, in Fawkner.
