His father died at an early age, and they were raised by his widowed mother.
He was a hard worker who created opportunities to better life for his family, in spite of having little formal education. He was a strict man, keen and quick to discipline offenders. And in fairness, of good character and humor.
A good father, making sure his family’s needs never lacked.
We had a good relationship after my adulthood.
He had very good community and friend relations. Liked by pretty much everyone that knew him.
