They had children Decon Abel Merrill, Susanna (Merrill) Morse, Nathan Merrill, Thomas Merrill, Priscilla Merrill Noyes, Ensign Joseph Merrill, James Merrill, and Susanah Merrill. He also married Priscilla Chase. Abel Merrill died at age 45 years old on October 28, 1689 in Newbury, Massachusetts, and was buried in 1689.
