Roberta (Finney) Wydermyer was born to (unknown) Finney in Tennessee. Her mother's maiden name was Collins. Roberta Finney married Billy Wydermyer. In June of 1983, she told Billy that she was going out for nasal spray at a nearby convenience store and asked him if he would like some cigarettes. Billy fell asleep on the couch and when he woke up the next morning, he saw that Roberta had never come home. Later, her body was found in her burning car, in the trunk. She had been shot. Then began the long journey of convicting the killer or was he the real murderer?
