    Pamella C. Woolpert, aged 43, Grand Rapids, went into the presence of Jesus on Tuesday morning, February 8, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Samuel; two daughters, Jessica and Victoria. She graduated from Oakland University and was a member of Thornapple Evangelical Covenant Church, Girl Scouts and a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Private interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Orval Faubus had previously prevented the students from entering the school at the beginning of the term with the Arkansas National Guard - they blocked the door. President Eisenhower ordered federal troops - the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army - to guard the students and allow them entry.
