Omer Edward Collette was born on August 4th, 1900 in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to Damase Colette (1859 - 1903) and Maria Marcille (1867 - 1962). He had six siblings: Louis, born 1890; Lovina, born 1891; Ernest, born 1893); Medard Sr., born 1895; Alfred, born 1897; and Arthur, born 1903.
Omer E. Collette married Margaret C. Rogers (1903 - 1966) on June 16th, 1927 in Manchester, New Hampshire. They had two children: daughter Patricia Mary A. Collette (1928 - 1996) and son Roger A. Collette (1942 - 2004).
A lifelong resident of Central Falls, Rhode Island, Omer Collette died in Central Falls in December of 1966. He is buried in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket, Providence County, Rhode Island.
