I'm her youngest granddaughter and extended daughter, Angela. This is grandma from my perspective. Mamie was the kindest no nonsense a** kicker kind of woman. She had a true heart of gold, but, she knew B******* when she heard it, and she would give one warning, either 'TELL THE TRUTH OR GET THE HELL OUT, EXACT WORDS!" IM THE EXACT REPLICA SO TO SPEAK OF GRANDMA. Mamie would do what she could, but Don't expect a Miracle. Grandma was always ready to offer a kind word, always a hug, and more love to offer than anyone I have ever known in my life. She had an Irish temper and love for music. A beautiful voice that sung us two kids to sleep many a nights as youngsters growing up. Mamie was No Saint, but in our eyes she was. Grandma could cook like no ones business and a handsome dark headed man always made sure we had good eatins' as grandma used to say! We were lucky to have her for over two decades in our lives. When grandma died, we lost our mom and very best friend whom saw us through the bad times and the good times. Grandma raised two grandkids to truly be PROUD OF, A**KICKERS AND NO NONSENSE WITH MORE INTEGRITY, UPBRINGING AND MORALS TO OUTLAST A LIFETIME.She truly was and always will be the Best of the Very Best influential woman in both our lives. She is dearly loved to this day with fondest of precious memorys. We doted on both her and grandpa. They were well suited for each other. Onry, sweet and No Nonsense! Rest easy.
