Lottie has led a remarkable life in that she never let any hardships get her down, and always looked for the good in things. She lost two husbands. She had two children, Steve and Nancy Dombrowski, from her marriage to Julius Dombrowski. Julius died in November 1970, at age 50 from colon cancer that had spread. He was born in Buffalo and had served in WWII. She later remarried Edwin Winn, from which no children were formed from that union. She lived most of her life in a home in North Tonawanda, where she loved being, with a view of the Erie Canal. Up until her 90's she cut her own grass which was no small feat being almost an acre of land. She has always had a can do, gutsy attitude, and like her mother, Julia, was very generous with whatever gifts life had given her.
Lottie Winn of Islip, Suffolk County, NY was born on March 8, 1924, and died at age 70 years old on August 24, 1994. Lottie Winn was buried at Calverton National Cemetery
Section 5 Site 6981 210 Princeton Boulevard - Rt 25, in Calverton.
Lottie Winn of Barstow, San Bernardino County, California was born on January 27, 1892, and died at age 83 years old in August 1975.
