Lawrence Grossman was born October 13, 1931 in the Bronx, New York City to Solomon and Faye Eisenstein Grossman. Lawrence was the oldest of 5 children. His siblings were Stanley, Leona, Rachelle and David. His siblings predeceased him. He married Francine Shore in the Bronx on February 14, 1954. Larry and Fran were married for 43 wonderful years until his death in 1996. They were the parents of 3 daughters: Sheryl Grossman Hill, Robin Grossman Lowe and Allison Beth Grossman and a son Brian Grossman who died at birth. Francine passed away from cancer on December 9, 1996. Larry died of a broken heart in December of 1996 when he discovered Mommy had terminal cancer and he could not bear the thought of living without her. Robin passed away from breast cancer on September 24, 1986 just 9 months after giving birth to her son Cody Brian Lowe on December 24, 1985. Cody passed away from an accident in August 1987. This was the day that both of my parents stopped enjoying life. The loss of Robin and Cody was a burden too heavy to bear. The sadness and pain were reflected in Larry and Fran's eyes for the remainder of their lives. Allisoǹ passed away from ovarian and breast cancer on January 15, 2008 while residing with her sister Sheryl and family in Tennessee. Both Fran and Larry did not live to see their 2 grandchildren Rachel and Michael Hill grow up or to meet their 3 great grandchildren, Ava Madison, Caroline and William Hill. Larry was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He spent his career as a successful automobile salesman until his retirement in Las Vegas and death at age 64. Fran died of ovarian cancer several months after Larry at age 61.
