Kathleen Heffron was my classmate in Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn, NY from 1957 - 1961. She assisted our Norwegian teacher Dr. Samuel Abrahamsen. She was active in the senior orchestra and devoted to the Salvation Army Church. Our graduation yearbook quotes her as saying, "I know not what the future holds - But I know that God holds the future."
Kathleen was a beautiful girl with lovely hair, sparkling eyes, full lips, and a perfect complexion.
Even in her Salvation Army uniform, Kathleen looked like a movie star. It turned out that she lived and died in the same county I live in now. Northampton County in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. I had a recurring dream about her the other night and that's why I am here giving her a tribute. She was passionate about helping people and her kindness should be remembered and celebrated.
Kathleen Heffron of San Diego, San Diego County, California was born on January 11, 1922, and died at age 61 years old in October 1983.
Kathleen Heffron of Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County, WI was born on March 10, 1942, and died at age 50 years old on September 20, 1992.
