Janet Whitt of Houston, Harris County, TX was born on April 1, 1950, and died at age 54 years old on August 26, 2004.
She was the youngest of 4 children. She grew up in the neighborhood of Meyerland in Houston, TX. After graduating from high school in 1968, she decided to move to California. She lived in Los Angeles for about a year. She moved back to Houston after a serious car wreck left her unable to walk. She was bed ridden for six months, but made a full recovery. She later met Dean Linscombe, with whom she married and had a son. In 1971 Joseph (J.D. for short) was born. That relationship came to an end, so Janet was a single mother for a couple of years. She later married Bill Burnett in 1974, and moved to Conroe, TX. In 1976, they had a daughter, Tiffany.
