Henry Dembitz Mar 4, 1905 - Mar 15, 1973 Sebring, Florida

Henry Dembitz was a family man and veteran who was born on March 4, 1905 in Orange County, New York, USA. He was the son of Leopold Dembitz (1863-1953) and Sarah Hoffman (1877-1925) and had six siblings Irving, Ernest, Lillian, Edward, Adolph, and Surite "Sue" Dembitz. Henry enlisted in the military on May 19, 1942, at Fort Jay Governors Island in New York. A year later, at the age of 37, Henry married (1906-1986) on January 14, 1943 in Prince George, Virginia, USA and they had two daughters together. The couple relocated to Sebring, Highlands, Florida in 1950. Henry passed away at the age of 68 on March 15, 1973 in Highlands County, Florida. This is the story of a man who lived a full life, dedicated to his family and country.
