On her birth certificate she was originally named Amy Meadows but later her name was given as Phemy Augusta Flora Meadows. Married James Geary in Stawell, Victoria on 24 October 1896. Children of marriage all born in/near Stawell: * Florence May Geary born 5 March 1897 elder twin * Victor James Geary born 5 March 1897 younger twin * Hubert John ("Jack") Geary born 1898 * Dora Mary Geary born 1901 * George Edward Geary born 1903 * Mutelle Annie Geary born 1906 James Geary predeceased on 29 January 1908 in Stawell, Victoria. Euphemia remarried Paul Whitfield in 1911, and they were divorced in 1932. She married a third time to Harry Hooke in 1935 and lived in Hurstville NSW from the mid-1930s until her death in 1948. Her father was William Meadows (1827-1882) and her mother was Mary McDonald (1835-1899). Her father was born in Orford, Suffolk, England. Her mother was born on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. She had about 12 siblings all of whom were born in Victoria.
