Barack Hussein Obama Sr. was born on June 18th, 1934 - some sources say 1936 - in Kenya to Onyango, later Hussein, Obama (c. 1895–1979) and Habiba Akumu Nyanjango (c. 1918–2006). Barack Sr. was the father of Barack Hussein Obama II, the 44th President of the United States. Both of his parents were born in Africa and he had two full sisters. Barack Obama Sr. was married four times. The first time, he. age 20 married Kezia Aoko in Kenya in 1954. They had two children, Malik and Auma. He then met Ann Dunham while attending the University of Hawaii on scholarship. They married on February 2nd, 1961 and had one son, the future President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama II. At the time, Barack Sr. said that he was divorced from Kezia. Years later, Ann found out that wasn't true. They divorced in 1964, after Ann had moved to Seattle Washington and attended the University of Washington during 1961 and 1962. Barack Sr. went on to attend Harvard University, after earning a B.A of economics in Hawaii. At Harvard, he earned an M.A. in economics. Returning to Kenya in 1964, he married Ruth Beatrice Baker on December 24th, 1964. He and Ruth, a Jewish-American elementary school teacher, had begun dating at Harvard. They had two sons and separated in 1971, divorcing in 1973. He then reconnected with his first wife, Kezia but later ended up in a relationship with Jael Otieno, with whom he was in a relationship when he died in 1982. They had one son, George. He was 48 years old, according to some records, 50 years old, when he died in an automobile accident. He is buried in his hometown in Kenya.

Barack Hussein Obama II was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents Barack H Obama and Dr Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro. He was raised by his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, and grandparents. He attended the prestigious Punahou School in Honolulu and after high school went on to attend Occidental College in Los Angeles and Columbia University in New York City, where he earned a degree in political science. Later, he pursued a law degree at Harvard Law School, where he became the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review, setting the stage for his future career in law, community organizing, and politics. Barack Obama's political journey began in 1996 when he was elected to the Illinois State Senate, representing the 13th district. During his time in the state senate, he worked on a wide range of issues, including healthcare, ethics reform, and criminal justice. He then ran for the U.S. Senate and won in 2004, becoming the fifth African American senator in U.S. history. His time in the Senate was marked by efforts to foster bipartisanship and address issues such as veterans' care and nuclear proliferation. Barack Obama was elected as the 44th President of the United States on November 4, 2008 when he secured the Democratic nomination and won the general election against the Republican nominee, Senator John McCain. He was the first African American president in United States history. His presidency spanned from 2009 to 2017 and during his time in office prioritized economic recovery, healthcare reform, and foreign policy. His signature achievement was the Affordable Care Act, expanding healthcare access.
